The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind

One of the most important subjects in my life is the renewed mind. Jesus never de-emphasized the mind. He intended for the renewed mind to have tremendous influence, so much so that we have been given the mind of Christ! However, what we have in our possession and what we operate out of are two different things.

Thoughts empower the invisible world, and the thought life of a person either enhances faith or undermines it. In 2 Corinthians 10:5, we are instructed to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Through repentance, our mind is renewed. Repentance means “changing the way we think”.

God is working to change our perspective of reality. The way we view conflicts, problems, personal crises, international crises all changes when our mind is renewed. The mandate on every believer is to do as Jesus did. We must never lose sight of the standard for God’s will on earth.

Throughout history we see people demonstrating the miraculous through extraordinary faith. You know your mind is renewed when the impossible looks logical. What used to intimidate you now excites you, because now there’s a target for why you’re alive: to see negative situations reversed for the glory of God.
